Compare Sector Across Geos lets you compare one sector across up to three geographies. You can compare company activity, funding, acquisitions, and IPOs to understand how a market is developing across different geographies.
How do I run a comparison?
Click Sectors in the left navigation.
Select All Sectors.
Select Compare Sector Across Geos from the sidebar.
Under Sector, search and select the sector.
Under Geographies (Max 3), add up to three geographies.
Under Customize Metrics, select the metrics you want to compare.
What can I compare?
Key Metrics - Total Companies, Funded Companies, Exits (Acq. & IPOs), Series A+ Companies, Number of Companies founded Y-o-Y and more
Investment Metrics - Total Funding Rounds, Median Round Size, Total Funding (3/5Y) CAGR, Funding amount Y-o-Y, Total Investors and more
Acquisition Metrics - Total Acquisitions, Median Acquisition Price, Total Acquirers and Number of Acquisitions Y-o-Y
IPO Metrics - Total IPOs, Median IPO Market Cap, Median Funding before IPO and Number of IPOs Y-o-Y
Example
If you want to compare the maturity of Healthcare IT across the United States, Singapore, and UK, select these three geographies and compare metrics such as Series C+ Companies, Unicorns Created, and Total IPOs.
