Top Sectors by Funding ranks Sectors and Feeds by funding activity.
You can use it to see which markets attract the most funding and deals for the period and filters you select.
What does the view show?
All: Shows Sectors and Feeds together.
Sectors (Practice Areas): Shows Tech Sectors.
Sub-Sectors (Feeds): Shows Feeds.
Each tab includes charts for Total Funding ($Bn) and Number of Rounds, followed by a table with details such as total investment, companies tracked, funded companies, total deals, and notable companies.
The charts and table update based on the filters you apply.
Where can I find Top Sectors by Funding?
Click Sectors in the left navigation and select Top Sectors by Funding.
Choose a tab.
Set your filters.
Review the charts and table.
Examples:
1) Find the most funded Feeds: Want to know which specific areas of FinTech attracted the most funding in the last 12 months?
Open Sub-Sectors (Feeds) and look at Feeds within FinTech to identify the areas receiving the most capital.
2) Analyze a market over a specific period: Want to see how the AI sector performed during 2025?
Set the funding period to 2025 and explore the Sectors (Practice Areas) and Sub-Sectors (Feeds) tabs to see the sectors and Feeds that attracted funding during that period.
