Tracxn MCP Credits

How are Tracxn MCP credits consumed?

Credits are consumed based on the data returned by your MCP queries. Credits are deducted only when relevant results are successfully fetched from Tracxn datasets.

1 MCP credit is consumed per result returned. Each result — a company, funding round, investor, acquisition, etc. — counts as 1 credit.

Status checks (e.g., "Am I connected to MCP?") are free.

Queries that return no results consume no credits.

Examples:

  1. Searching for companies using filters where 50 results are returned consumes 50 MCP credits.

  2. Requesting detailed information for a company with 10 funding rounds (amount, date, investors, etc.) consumes 10 MCP credits.

  3. A broad query like "Build a market analysis of a sector" consumes credits based on the total results returned across all steps.

MCP Tools Involved in Data Fetching

Is there a limit per user?

Yes. Each user has a monthly credit cap. This cap depends on your subscription plan and typically ranges from 2K to 10K. If you hit your monthly user cap: your access resumes automatically when the cap resets next month.

Where can I view my credit usage and what happens when my credits run out?

You can track your usage on the Tracxn MCP Credit Usage page. If you need more credits, simply click the Request for More Credits button available on that page.
