Funding Benchmarks is a tool that helps you find the right numbers for your next investment.
When you land on the Overview tab, you have the option to see the median or average values of all funding rounds (ranging from seed to series C+) for all companies in the following categories
Round Size
Round Valuation
Funding Multiple (P/S)
Time to Next Round
Along with the mentioned data, you can also view the number of rounds for each stage in the overview tab. This data will provide you with a high level view of the underlying funding round data for each stage.
You can apply appropriate filters from the right top to filter the right parameters for your investment based on your mandate.
When to use?
You should use it when you are actively evaluating a deal for investment or when you are trying to raise next rounds for your portfolio.
This helps you evaluate how other similar companies/investors have raised or invested at the same point of time.
