The Tracxn Unicorn Club comprises of:
Unicorns: Companies with a valuation of $1B USD or more
Decacorns: Companies with a valuation of $10B USD or more
How it works:
The Unicorn Club lists all companies that have ever reached Unicorn or Decacorn status, regardless of their current status.
Companies that later go Public, get acquired, or deadpooled are still included as long as they had once attained Unicorn status.
The Unicorn Club is continuously updated with new Unicorns and Decacorns as they emerge.
Example:
Uber became a Unicorn in 2013 and a Decacorn in 2014.
It later went Public, meaning it is no longer classified as a Unicorn or Decacorn.
However, Uber remains part of the Unicorn Club because it had previously achieved Unicorn status.
If you are looking for companies that are currently Unicorns or Decacorns, you can view them in the Companies Covered view on the Tracxn platform.
