How can I set up Alerts?

Alerts can be configured while setting up your sourcing board.

  • Go to the “Set an email alert” section of the board which is usually the last step of setting up a board. Configure the alert based on your desired frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc) as shown below, and then click on the "Save and take me to my board" button once the board is set up.

Alerts can also be set up for your dashboards which are already enabled.

  • Go to Products > My Sourcing Boards. This will open the “My Sourcing Boards” page.

  • Select the board for which you want to set up the alert.

  • On the next page that opens, click on the "Configure Board” option.

  • Under the “Alerts settings” section which is usually the last step, configure the alert based on your desired frequency (Daily, Weekly, or, Monthly) as shown below, and then click on the "Save and take me to my board" button once the board is set up.

You can also customize both the delivery time as well as the contents of alerts from a sourcing board.

To customize the frequency and the delivery time of receiving the alerts,

  • In the Alerts settings of the board, click on the "Custom" radio button. Select the desired frequency, and time of receiving the alert and then click on the "Save and take me to my board" button.

  • To customize the content that you want to receive in the alerts, Expand the Advanced Settings.

  • Under the “Select Widgets” section, select the relevant widgets

  • Under the “Content Settings” section, you can click on the relevant check boxes of either

  • Do not send updates about old events - Old News, Funding Rounds, Soonicorn Activity, Acquisition Activity, and Reports will not be displayed in your Alert mails

  • Remove duplicate updates from the alert mail - If an update is a part of multiple widgets on the dashboard, then it will be sent only once in each alert mail (under the first widget it matched against)

Click on "Save and take me to my board" button to save these custom alerts.

  • Under the Export section, click on the “Provide an export of the updates with alert mails” check box if you want to receive a link to download the export file in each alert mail.

  • You can track the status of your alerts in My Account >> My Alerts.
