In this guide, we will walk you through setting up and using a board.

We will take the example of a 'Sector Watch' board in this case - but the same workflow can be used to set up and use any other board as well. We will cover the following:

  • Configuring a new board

  • The 'Activities in my sectors of interest' tab

  • The 'New Matches' tab

  • The Home Dashboard Feed

  • Email Alerts

Configuring a new board

  • Go to the About Sector Watch section and click on "Set up a new board now".

  • In the Configurator page, update the β€œBoard name” and β€œBoard Description” of the Sector Watch board.

  • In the Sector section, select the desired Sectors, Geographies, and Keywords as per your mandate.

  • In the Threshold Metrics section, set up the desired threshold values for different performance metrics as shown below:

  • In the feed setting you can now select whether you want to receive the updates from this board in your home dashboard feed.

You can also configure alerts for the desired frequency and then Click on "Save and take me to my board" to effect these changes.

Activities in my sectors of interest

  • Once the board is set up, you will be taken to the first tab. Here you will see a snapshot of the latest activities in the sector configured. You can click the 'Results' link at the bottom of any widget to see the full list.

The New Matches

  • The New Matches tab provides all new updates from your board. Updates are sorted by the time at which the entity matched your board configuration.

The Home Dashboard Feed

  • The Home Dashboard Feed is a central feed of all new updates from all your Boards. You will receive periodic updates of all your enabled boards, in the form of cards.

  • This helps you in keeping track of all updates from one central location.

Email Alerts

  • If you have enabled alerts on the board, you will receive an email containing the latest updates.
