You can follow these simple steps to customize the Acquisition Trends view.
Select the "Custom" chart from the dropdown on the Acquisition Trends page.
You can customize the chart in 2 ways.
X Axis: Allows you to group the Acquisition based on Acquisition Round Date, Acquired Company Location, Acquired Company Sectors, Acquirer's Location, Acquirer's Sectors. You can select the desired grouping from the "View By" dropdown list and click on Update.
Y Axis: Allows you to customize the data in the different datasets. Select any of the below options and click on Update.
Data to Show: Acquisition Price, Number of Acquisitions
Operation: Sum, Average
How to Show: Bar, Line, Area
Split By: Business Acquisition, None
Scale: Linear, Log
Axis: Left Y Axis, Right Y Axis
You can add a new dataset to the graph by using the "Add New Dataset" option present under Y Axis of the Chart Data section and clicking on Update.
You can also customize the overall dataset in which you are interested using multiple filters based on geography, sector, funding, and other performance metrics from the Filter option on the top right corner of the page.
Example: You can only view companies in select BM, founded in a particular period, etc.
