You can follow these simple steps to customise the Investment Trends view.

  • Select the "Custom" chart from the drop-down on the Investment Trends page.

You can customise the chart in 2 ways.

  • X Axis: Allows you to group the investments by selecting any of the "View By" drop-downs - Funding Round Date, Company Location, Company Sectors, Investor's Location, Investor's Sectors as per interest, and then click on Update.

Y Axis: Allows you to customize the data in the different datasets. Select any of the below options and click on Update.

  • Data to Show: Funding Amount, Number of Rounds

  • Operation: Sum, Average, Median

  • How to Show: Bar, Line, Area

  • Split By: Equity & Non-Equity Rounds, Round Stages, Investor Types

  • Scale: Linear, Log

  • Axis: Left Y Axis, Right Y Axis

You can add a new dataset to the graph by using the "Add New Dataset" option present under Y Axis of the Chart Data section and clicking on Update.

You can also customise the overall dataset in which you are interested using multiple filters based on geography, sector, funding, and other performance metrics.

  • Example: You can only view companies in select BM, founded during a particular period, etc.

Existing chart views can also be customised by exercising the options present under the Chart Data section.
