CRM tasks allow you to effectively manage and organize your deal-related to-do items. They serve as reminders for both your team and yourself to complete important actions. Tasks can encompass various activities such as scheduling follow-up calls with founders or gathering due diligence documents for an upcoming funding round. Follow these steps to add a task:
From the Company CRM page
Click on the 'Tasks' button from the ‘Deal Flow CRM’ section of the company profile page.
By default, the assignee for the task will be the user creating it. However, you can assign it to someone else in the 'Assigned To' field.
Utilize the date picker to select the desired completion date for the task. The current date is shown by default.
Determine the priority of the task based on its urgency. The default priority is set to High.
All tasks are initially marked as ‘open’. Once the task is completed, you can update its status to 'close'.
Provide a suitable title for the task.
Describe the purpose of the task in the description. This will help other users understand it better.
Attach any necessary supporting files or documents related to the task.
Once you have filled in the necessary details, click on the 'save' button to save the task.
From Tasks view
Visit the CRM home page. Click on the 'Tasks' tab to add or view tasks
Click on the 'Add Task' button to start adding a task. This will open the task form.

Additionally, you have the option to filter tasks based on their status. For example, if you wish to view only 'open tasks,' you can select the 'Open' radio button in the status field. This allows you to customize your task-viewing experience and focus on the specific tasks you need to manage.
Task Filters:
Utilise filters to selectively view tasks. You can narrow down your task view by applying filters based on various criteria such as the company name, task due date, task status, etc.
