How do I add companies to the Deal Flow CRM?

The Deal Flow CRM is tightly integrated with the Tracxn company Database. This allows you to add companies to the CRM from anywhere on the Tracxn platform. You can also add companies that are not covered on the Tracxn platform.

You can add companies to the Deal Flow CRM in multiple ways as explained below:

  • Add companies within the CRM
    ​    Companies can be added to the CRM by clicking on the 'Add Companies' button from the “Deals” page.

  • Search & Add Companies

This method is ideal when you want to add a few companies to the CRM.

Search for a company, add basic deal information (deal stage, assignees etc.) to add the company(s) to the CRM

Note:

  • Any company with a valid website (E.g: tracxn.com, tracxn.io, tracxn.org) can be added to the CRM

  • Please note that company names (E.g: Tracxn, ABC Inc.) cannot be added

  • You can add a maximum of 20 companies at once

ii. Bulk add companies manually

This is ideal when you want to add a small number of companies to the CRM.

You can type or copy & paste the domains of companies that you want to add to the CRM

Note:

  • Please ensure that you enter only company domains to add companies to the CRM

    • Valid entries: Tracxn.com, Amazon.in, freshworks.io

    • Invalid entries: Tracxn pvt ltd, Amazon Inc, Freshworks

  • Please note that Invalid or duplicate websites will be ignored

  • You can upload a maximum of 2000 companies at once

  • You can review the addition/rejections from My Account > Import History

iii. Bulk add companies via CSV file

This method is suitable when you want to add a large number of companies to your CRM. Simply upload a .CSV file with the companies' domains to be added.

Note:

  • Please ensure that the .CSV file contains only company domains (e.g: tracxn.com, tracxn.io, tracxn.org)

  • Invalid websites and duplicate entries will be ignored

  • You can upload a maximum of 2000 companies at once

  • You can review the addition/rejections from My Account > Import History

iv. Bulk add companies using Tracxn URL

This method is ideal when you want to add companies from Tracxn's companies list directly. Simply copy & paste Tracxn's URL to add companies.

Note:

  • Please ensure that the URL only contains a list of companies Sample URL

  • Companies that are already added to the CRM will be ignored

  • You can upload a maximum of 2000 companies at once, If your query has more than 2000 results in it please narrow it down using filters

  • You can review the addition/rejections from My Account > Import History

  • Review import requests

You can track your import request fromMy Account > Import History You can download the report, and review the additions/rejections from the above link

Note: The report shows a list of successful & failed imports with reasons for failure.

Add companies from the companies database

  • Add companies from any companies list on the platform

Any company on the platform can be added to the CRM by clicking on 'CRM' icon. The same option is available in the table view within the 3-dot menu next to the company name

  • Add companies from the company profile page

Visit a company's page, and click on 'Add to Deal Flow CRM' to add the company to your CRM. Alternatively, visit the Deal Flow CRM tab to add the company

Note: Companies that are added from the companies database and company pages, will be added to a default entry stage. You can set your default stage from Deal Flow CRM > CRM Settings > Default Entry Stage
