Tracxn MCP works on paid Copilot plans.
Step 1 — Register the OAuth client in the Teams Developer Portal
Under Tools → OAuth client registration, select Register client (or New OAuth client registration if you already have registrations), then fill in the fields below.

Select Save. On save, the portal generates the OAuth client registration ID — this is your Reference ID. Copy it; you will paste it into the admin center in Step 2.
Step 2 — Create the connector in the Microsoft 365 admin center
Part 1:
With the Reference ID copied, create the connector and point it at the stored OAuth configuration.
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center
Go to admin.microsoft.com and sign in with an administrator account.
Open Copilot → Connectors
In the left pane, select Copilot → Connectors, then open the Gallery tab.
Add a new custom connector
Under Created by your org, find the Create a new connector tile and select Add. On the Custom connector page, under Connect to MCP server, select Add and enter the connector details.
Enter the Details
Display name: any suitable name for the MCP connector (Example: Tracxn)
MCP Endpoint URL: https://platform.tracxn.com/mcp
Website URL: https://tracxn.com
Privacy policy URL: https://tracxn.com/privacypolicy
Terms of use URL: https://tracxn.com/termsofuse
Authentication Type: OAuth 2.0
Reference ID: paste the OAuth client registration ID you copied from the Teams Developer Portal in Step 1 and click authorize.
Select the confirmation checkbox
Click Create to create the connector.
Once created, it becomes available to Copilot chat, where users authenticate through the Tracxn OAuth flow on first use.
Part 2:
In the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, in the left pane, select Copilot → Connectors, then open the Your Connections tab.
Select MCP Connections
Search for and find the connector you created.
elect the ellipsis (...) menu next to the name of your connector, then select View details.
Locate the Enable/disable this source for users toggle and switch it to On (if it is not already enabled).
Configure Rollout Availability: Check the Staged rollout setting. By default, it may be set to Visible to everyone. Select Change if you wish to restrict access to specific target users.
Step 3 — Enable the Tracxn MCP in Copilot Chat
Open the Microsoft Copilot chat - Link
Click on the settings icon next to your name
Select sources
Browse the name of the connector you just created
note : it will take sometime to reflect in sources , do not panic if not found
Click Connect > Continue and follow the prompt to authorize your account.
In Copilot Chat, click the '+' icon near the prompt box.
Select Change Data Sources.
Toggle ON the connector you just added.
Type your prompt directly into the chat.
