Troubleshooting: Resolving Tracxn MCP Connector Issue in Claude

Following recent guideline and protocol updates for the MCP in Claude, you may encounter an unexpected error when attempting to fetch Tracxn data.

What You Might See

When requesting Tracxn data, Claude may display a message similar to:

"Since this is a Tracxn data request, I’ll try the connector once more. The connector is still blocked. I’ll search Tracxn’s public pages and cite those instead."

(Behind the scenes, the backend log may indicate that load_prompt needs to be called before passing the promptAckToken on data calls).

What We Are Doing

Our engineering team is actively working on an update to align with Claude’s latest MCP requirements, and a permanent fix will be released very soon.

Intermediate Workaround

In the meantime, you can restore connector functionality by following these simple steps:

1.Disconnect and reconnect the Tracxn MCP connector in Claude.

  • Navigate to your connector settings in Claude, locate the Tracxn MCP Connector, and choose Disconnect.

  • Reconnect the Tracxn MCP Connector.

2.Select Pre-Loaded Tools:

Click '+' in the chat. Go to Connectors > Tool access > Select 'Tools already loaded'
