What is the Tracxn AI Assistant?
It is a natural language conversational tool that helps you work faster on Tracxn. You can build company lists, run quick company deep dives, and compare competitors or market trends — all by typing a question instead of setting up filters.
How do I open it?
You can reach the AI Assistant in two ways: from the dedicated “AI Assistant” tab on the left navigation bar, or from the purple “AI Assistant” button on the top bar, next to “Advanced Search.” It is available from anywhere on the platform.
What kinds of questions can I ask?
Anything from quick company research to funding and market questions. To help you start, the chat shows sample prompt categories — Company Research, Financial Analytics, and Funding & Acquisitions — each with click-to-run examples such as “Give me a detailed overview of Databricks” or “Show me companies in the AI sector.”
How do I point the assistant to a specific company, investor, or entity?
Type the @ symbol while writing your question to tag and reference a specific company profile, legal entity, or investor record.
Does the AI Assistant support all Tracxn datasets and workflows?
The AI Assistant is currently in Beta and coverage across datasets, workflows, and platform modules may continue expanding over time.
Working With Responses
Can I save or share what the assistant gives me?
Yes. You can copy the response text to your clipboard, or download the full conversation as a formatted PDF to share with your team or clients.
Usage & Availability
How can I see how much I have used?
A usage widget in the top bar of the AI Assistant shows your usage as a percentage, along with a “Heads Up” indicator as you get close to your limit.
What happens if I reach my usage limit?
When you reach the limit, the assistant shows an option to request additional usage. Submit the request, and the team will review it and extend your access where appropriate.
Is the AI Assistant now generally available to all users?
The AI Assistant is currently in Beta. It is live for some of the Tiers, and is being expanded to more plans soon. Because it is in Beta, you may see ongoing improvements as the team refines it.
I have a question or an issue with the AI Assistant — who do I contact?
Please reach out to your Tracxn account manager or the Tracxn support team. They will help you with access, usage, and any questions about the tool.
Is there any additional cost to use the AI Assistant?
We are currently in the beta phase and it is part of the current plan with no additional cost.
Can multiple users on the same account share AI Assistant usage limits?
Yes, the limits are at account level and will get shared amongst the team members.
