Tracxn MCP works on all ChatGPT plans, including the free tier.
Step 1: Turn on Developer Mode
Click your profile picture → Settings
Go to Apps → Advanced Settings
Toggle Developer Mode ON
Step 2: Create the Tracxn app
From Settings → Apps, click Create App
Fill in:
Name: Tracxn
Description: Private market intelligence — companies, funding, investors, M&A
MCP Server URL: https://platform.tracxn.com/mcp
Acknowledge the "I trust this application" checkbox
Click Create
Step 3: Connect
Click Connect on the Tracxn app
Sign in to Tracxn in the browser tab that opens
Approve the requested access
The status should change to Connected
Step 4: Use Tracxn in chat
Start a new chat
Click the + button or Apps icon in the message composer
Toggle Tracxn on for the chat
Type your question
Try it:
