This section helps you quickly understand what the company is before you go deeper.

Explore Key Metrics section

The Key Metrics section provides a quick and structured overview of the most important information about a company. It is designed to help you understand the scale and status of the business within seconds, before you explore the deeper sections.

Here, you can view key data points such as total equity funding raised, post-money valuation, market capitalization (if the company is public), latest funding round, investor count, annual revenue, employee count, ranking, and major transactions like acquisitions.

Can I customize the Key Metrics section?

The Key Metrics section is fully customizable. You can choose which metrics you want to see and arrange them according to your preference. Once customized, your selection remains consistent across all company profiles, so your preferred view is automatically applied everywhere.

If you believe any metric is outdated, you can simply click the refresh option at the top and select the specific data points you would like updated for that company. This allows you to request updates for only the information that matters to you.

You can customize these metrics based on your research needs. For example:
An investor may prioritize valuation and funding history.

A strategy team may focus on revenue and employee growth.

Explore About section

The About section gives you a clear understanding of what the company does and how it operates. It provides a structured description of the company’s business model, core offerings, and sector classification so you can quickly grasp its positioning in the market.

In addition to the business description, this section also displays important structural details such as associated legal entities and subsidiaries. This helps you understand the broader corporate structure and how the company may be organized across different regions or business units.

If any information appears outdated, you can use the refresh option available in this section and select the specific data points you would like updated. This allows you to request updates only for the areas that require attention.

Explore Public Market Fundamentals section

This section helps you see insights related to the sector size, activity levels, and overall ecosystem dynamics. You can evaluate whether the company operates in a highly competitive market, a growing emerging space, or a more mature and stable segment.

Public Market Fundamentals is especially useful when you want to assess opportunity potential.
For example, a company operating in a rapidly expanding sector may have different growth prospects compared to one in a saturated market. By viewing this section, you gain clarity on market momentum, competitive intensity, and the overall attractiveness of the space.

Note: This section is available for publicly listed companies. This section is not displayed for private companies.

Explore Coverage section

The Coverage Areas section shows how the company is tagged and positioned across Tracxn’s classification system. It helps you understand the different categories, markets, and segments where the company is relevant.

At the top, you can see the primary sector classification path of the company. This shows the industry hierarchy the company belongs to.

For example:
A company may be classified under Consumer → Social Platforms → Horizontal or Enterprise Applications → Enterprise Collaboration → Communication → Team Messaging. This helps you quickly understand the sector and sub-sector the company operates in.

Below this, you will see Other Coverage Areas where the company may be mapped across multiple categories. These may include Geographies, Other Markets, Trending Themes, Team Background, Notable Lists, Special Flags, and more. The exact categories may vary from company to company depending on how the company is classified.

- All of these tags are clickable. When you click on any of them, you will be able to view other companies that are also tagged under the same category.

For example, if a company is marked under a Special Flag such as Tech, clicking on it will show you other companies that are also tagged as Tech.

Explore IPO - Public Listing Details

The IPO section provides information related to a company’s public listing. This section is available only for companies that are publicly listed and will not appear for private companies.

Here, you can view important details such as the IPO date, listing exchange, offer information, and other relevant listing-related data.

The listing exchange shown in this section is clickable. By clicking on the exchange name, you will be redirected to the respective stock exchange website where the company is listed. This allows you to directly access the official exchange page for additional listing and trading information.

Understand People - Leadership and Workforce Insights

The People section provides information about the individuals leading the company and the overall workforce size. Here, you can view details about founders, key people, senior management, and board members. For each person, their designation and a short description of their role or background are also available, helping you understand the leadership structure of the company.

This section also includes employee count insights, where you can track how the company’s workforce has changed over time. The employee growth chart can be viewed using different data sources such as labour filings or social media, depending on availability.

Where available, LinkedIn and email icons appear next to individuals. Clicking on the LinkedIn icon takes you directly to their LinkedIn profile, while the mail icon opens your mailbox to contact them.

Explore Patents

The Patents section on the company profile shows the patent filings associated with the company’s legal entity. In the table view, you can see details such as the patent title, its current status (for example granted), the filing location, application number, application date, publication date, and grant date. This allows you to quickly review the company’s intellectual property activity and understand where and when these patents were filed.

On the right side of the table, there is a “View” option under the More Details column. When you click on this, a detailed patent view opens. This expanded view displays the full patent information in more detailed view.
