The Soonicorn Club is updated on an ongoing basis, there is no fixed cadence. Updates are triggered by changes in key business metrics:
New funding rounds
Valuation changes (up or down)
Revenue growth milestones
Significant media coverage or market developments
Companies in the Soonicorn Club can be upgraded or downgraded based on their performance.
βUpgrade Example: A Minicorn closes a Series B round and its valuation crosses $200M. It also confirm strong revenue and employee growth. The company is upgraded to Soonicorn
status.
Downgrade Example: A Soonicorn raises a down round, with its valuation falling from $400M to $60M. Combined with declining revenue signals, it is downgraded to Minicorn or removed from the club entirely.

What is the difference between Latest Unicorn or Soonicorn Status and Event Date?
You can refine the list of companies using two filters - Latest Unicorn & Soonicorn Status and Latest Unicorn & Soonicorn Event Date. The status filter lets you select companies based on their current classification, such as Minicorn, Soonicorn, Unicorn, or companies that are no longer part of the X-corn category. The event date filter allows you to narrow down results based on when a company most recently achieved or changed its status. You can either choose from predefined time ranges or set a custom date range to analyze companies within a specific timeframe.
