Adding companies, legal entities and people to the Deal Flow CRM

Updated this week

Overview

The Deal Flow CRM is tightly integrated with the Tracxn database, allowing you to create deals from anywhere on the Tracxn platform. You can also create deals within the CRM, that are not linked to any entity in the Tracxn database.

Associated Entities

In the Deal Flow CRM, companies, people, legal entities, and custom links are collectively referred to as associated entities. These associated entities can be linked to deals to help you capture all relevant information related to an opportunity or initiative in one place.

A single deal can have multiple associated entities linked to it.

Adding Associated Entities

Adding an associated entity from the Tracxn platform, creates a deal with the same name in the CRM. You can add associated entities to the Deal Flow CRM in the following ways:

  • From within the CRM

  • From Tracxn list pages

  • From associated entity detail pages

More details given below.

Default Stage

When a new deal is created, it is automatically added to the default stage of your pipeline. You can update the stage later based on your workflow.
