The Top Sectors by Funding view is designed to offer a comprehensive snapshot of sector-level and sub-sector level activities to the user and helps them to:

  1. Identify Hot Sectors: Spot industries attracting the most funding and entrepreneurial activity.

  2. Analyze Trends: Understand how total funding and number funding rounds are different across sectors for the same time period.

  3. Benchmark Performance: Compare key metrics, such as Total Investments and number of deals, across multiple sectors.

  4. Conduct Market Research: Gather insights for reports, articles, or strategic decisions using data-rich visualizations.

There are 3 tabs in this view:

  1. All Tab - Shows data across all sectors and sub-sectors

  2. Sectors Tab - Shows data across all sectors

  3. Sub-Sectors Tab - Shows data across all sub-sectors

Each tab has 2 charts:

  1. Top Sectors by Total Funding

  2. Top Sectors by Number of Funding Rounds
