Problem statement:

You are participating in a case competition by HUL. As part of this, you need to acquire a company in the beauty tech space.

Shortlist a list of companies that you would want to evaluate further.

Solution:

Let’s explore an example by looking at companies founded in the last 7 years but have not raised any new funding in the last 3 years.

Step 1: Visit Company Database

Visit Company Database from Home Dashboard to explore companies.

Step 2: Apply filters to narrow down your search

Go to All Filters and streamline the Company database result as per your research requirement

  • Founded Year > “2017”, “2018”, “2019”, “2020”, “2021”, “2022”
    and “2023

  • Company Stage > “Funded Companies

  • Latest funding round > Max = “1 Jan 2021

Step 3: Sort the companies list

Use Sort = “Founded Year” to highlight companies to be further researched.

Step 4: Bookmark the companies of your interest

Use the Bookmark feature to save the identified companies within a new bookmark list for future analysis.
